if you score 250 below and you are aspiring for MEDICINE,NURSING,ELECT ELECT,LAW.we advice you not to pick schools like UNILAG,UNIBEN,UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN,OAU,UNN,UNIZIK ETC
YOU might ask why? because 250 is a good score.
Its because of the competition involved,alot of people going for medicine score as high as 310,320 330.
but are your dreams of becoming medical doctor over?
absolutely NO!
with 250 in jamb you can be considered for admission in schools like DELSU,UNIVERSITY OF ABUJA,UNIMAID,LASU, and some other state universities,but you have to also perform excellently in the POST UTME and meet up with your departmental cut off.
That is why the next thing after seeing your jamb score is to start preparing for POST UTME,because a few point behind your departmental cut off is likely an end to admission for such.
SOME OF YOU MIGHT ASK WHAT IS POST UTME?
post utme is an exam or test organise by the school or university of your choice.It is an exam one must pass before being considered for admission.
some NIGERIAN universities do not conduct post utme,they conduct screening.
Aspirants of schools that conduct screening do not write exam,they just submit their o level result and wait patiently for admission.
schools that dont conduct post utme include UNIABUJA ,FUOYE, YABATECH ETC.
now lets go back:
jamb scores ranging from 200 to 180 can also get you to study professional courses like computer science,biochemistry,english and french,theater art.etc in schools like uniabuja,fuoye,osun state uni.
but it all depends on the school of your choice.
some university peg their cut off to be 180,you can apply for them.

JAMB SCORES from 180 to 150: you might just consider applying for polytechnics,no fewer than 2 or 3 universities peg their cut off at 150 example fuotuoke located in BAYELSA state.
